The Workers’ Center of Central New York, in collaboration with the Southern Christian Leadership Conference will be presenting a screening of the documentary “At the River I Stand” and you are invited!
The documentary is a 56 minute film focusing on Martin Luther King and the Memphis Sanitation Workers’ strike. Our event will be taking place at The Salem Church of Syracuse Inc. (516 South Ave. Syracuse, NY 13204) at 5:30PM Following the screening we will be having a discussion about the film and its implications for current day struggles.
The event is free and open to the public.
