Hi friends, thanks for all the donations for this fundraising campaign! Your donation will be put to good use: We do outreach to visit farmworkers all over Upstate and Central NY, provide trainings and workshops so workers can organize and fight back unjust working conditions and are at the forefront of the struggle for dignity, respect and sanctuary for immigrants and refugees. More than anytime organizations like the Workers’ Center of CNY need to exist and thrive and you are doing your part with your donations and volunteer work. Muchas gracias!
Recently we were able to hire two more staff: one full time and one part time and that was only posible thanks to your support.
Please help me to get to $1000, we are now at $700. The funds we raise will allow us to have money to pay for transportation, expenses related to trainings and advocacy and much more. Mil gracias!

On Monday, Nov. 20th at 5pm at University United Methodist Church, we will be having a civil disobedience training and we will continue preparing for the action on the following day. While we will not be engaging in civil disobedience at this particular action, it is a tactic we might use later on in the struggle for immigrants rights here in Central New York and of course, it never hurts to be prepared! Please join us Monday evening! For more info: email@example.com

As Puerto Ricans struggle to recover from a devastating hurricane, the U.S. government has shamefully proposed an “aid” package that will only add to the debt that has crippled Puerto Rico’s economy. Donald Trump, meanwhile, has wasted no opportunity to demean Puerto Ricans as undeserving of aid. What are the reasons behind Puerto Rico’s ongoing crisis, and why does U.S. policy continue to treat Puerto Ricans as second-class citizens?
