Fund Excluded Workers

We won!

In April, after more than a year of organizing and being left out of pandemic assistance, excluded workers in NYS won a $2.1 billion fund passed as part of the NYS budget. This historic victory is the largest fund of its kind in the country.

Applications opened on August 1 and will be available until the funds have all been distributed. You can apply here!

Community groups across the state are providing free application assistance. Do not pay anyone to help you submit your application. If you need assistance, please reach out to the Workers Center or another community group. See the full list of groups here.
